Spring Community Connect
Adult Classes Begin March 22
Spring Community
Connect classes for adults will begin with
Computer Basics on Monday, March 22. Other
classes beginning that week include How to Buy &
Sell on EBay, Beginning Crochet, Drawing
Fundamentals, Strollercise and First Shots, it
was announced by CC coordinator Sylvia Renick.
Registration is available online at

Street.
Computer Basics,
and introductory class taught by Ashley Thomas,
will cover email, web surfing and basic software
applications. Great for the novice or as a
refresher course.
Annette Melius will
teach the basics of How to Buy & Sell on
EBay. Two, two-hour sessions on two
Thursdays.
Whether it’s a baby
blanket or cozy afghan you’ve always wanted to
crochet, get hooked in Jerry Sue Smith’s
Beginning Crochet class on Thursday
evenings.
If you prefer to expand
your artistic ability in an art class, join
Tammy Douglas in her Drawing Fundamentals
class on Tuesdays. (This class actually begins
the week of March 29th!)
Ready to get more
physical after this long winter? Tina Simmons
will again lead a fat burning/muscle building
Strollercise Class Mondays and
Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10 am.
Ginger Cleavinger will
be offering her First Shots class
covering the rules and regulations of gun
ownership, firearm safety and maintenance, along
with range shooting under the supervision of a
qualified instructor. This group will meet
Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30. *Students must be 21
years of age or older and have no criminal
history. In person registration at 701 E. 10th
is required for the
class.*
