Flying Thunder

On May 17, 2008 two historic helicopters made a stop in Dalhart. The first was Kiowa that was used primarily during Desert Storm and the second was an Hewy used primarily during the Vietnam War. Local resident, along with visitors from surrounding communities made their way to the Dalhart Municipal Airport to see these historic helicopters.
